Annual Rigsum Institute of IT and Management quiz competition

The annual Rigsum Institute of IT and Management (RIIT&M) quiz competition was conducted yesterday at the Bhutan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) conference hall yesterday. From the 31 participants, who were divided into six groups, Team 3 topped, followed by Team Five.
Ambika Bhujel, coordinator of the event said the quiz was based on History, IT, Geography, General Knowledge, Games and Sports and Science. “It is conducted to inspire students to learn,” she said.
She added that as the first certified private IT institute, RIIT&M is committed to ensure consistency in the delivery of training, through continuous monitoring of customer satisfaction and updating of training curricula. “RIIT&M also provides skill training for youth at large, by establishing a system of quality teaching. This system enables youth to enhance their performance, thereby contributing to the growth and development of the society,” she said.
Meanwhile, the winning team - Jampal Zangmo, Thagi Maya, Lhaden, Pema Dechen ,Tenzin Jamtsho and Tshering Dorji – said it was an enriching experience. “We thank the management teams for giving us an opportunity to compete in the Quiz.”
Members of the runners up - Anjana Gurung, Passang Dorji, Subarna Rai, Ugyen Tenpa, Rinzin Wangdi, and Choki also spoke along the same lines. The team said they gained a lot of knowledge and that they would participate again.
