Creating Effective and Secure Websites (March 29-30, 2012)

Your organization's website is an important tool for disseminating information and communicating with an intended audience.

In Bhutan, there is a growing number of websites for government departments, banks, NGOs, travel agencies, schools and universities, and many other organizations. Yet, many of these websites are difficult to update, compromised by hacking, ineffective due to poor design, and costly to create and maintain.

The upcoming "Creating effective and secure websites" workshop offers organizations in Bhutan the opportunity to learn how to quickly create, design and easily maintain and update a secure, well-designed and free website using Google Sites. The Google suite of tools includes many useful features, and is easy to master and maintain. The workshop is also suitable for small business owners and individuals with experience using the Internet, interested in creating their own free website.

The workshop, first offered in Nov 2011, is a hands-on two day event, instructed by Boaz Shmueli from Rigsum Institute. It is offered again on Mar 29-30, 2012. Seats are limited to 10 participants, so reserve your seat soon. For detailed information about the workshop topics and for online registration click here.
