This special half-day workshop introduced RIHS students and faculty as well as Ministry of Health public health officers to effective methods for presenting data via charts and interactive dashboards.
The first part of this hands-on session focused on using Microsoft Excel, with a focus on the powerful Pivot Tables and Charts. We covered good practices for creating effective charts.
The second part introduced participants to the interactive visualization software Tableau, learning how to build interactive charts, map charts and dashboards. A sample dashboard can be seen here.
